The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Board of Trustees appointed three Morehead-Cain Alumni to the UNC–Chapel Hill Board of Visitors (BOV).

Mike Ferguson ’92 of Raleigh, North Carolina; Graham Cosper ’97 of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Christian Charnaux ’99 of Atlanta, Georgia, have been selected for this year’s cohort of members along with fifty-eight others.

Ferguson is an otolaryngologist and director of WakeMed Physician Practices’ ENT, Head and Neck Surgery Program; and serves as associate professor and associate director of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. Cosper is a pediatric surgeon at Pediatric Surgical Associates, an independent medical practice specializing in pediatric surgery, and serves as associate program director for the General Surgery residency program at Carolinas Medical Center. Charnaux serves as chief growth officer of Inspire Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company whose portfolio includes more than 32,000 Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, and SONIC Drive-In restaurants worldwide.

BOV members support the UNC–Chapel Hill Board of Trustees through their professional expertise and experience and by working to advance institutional efforts. They also serve on subcommittees focused on topics such as public relations, government relations, and fundraising.

The more than 200 members of the BOV serve as ambassadors for the University and seek to “inform their communities about the University’s priorities and, in turn, educate the University on how it can best serve communities around the world,” according to the May 18 announcement.

The new members begin their terms on July 1 and will each serve for four years.
