Scholar Impact at Carolina

Morehead-Cain Scholars are challenged to grow, to author their own college experience, and to seize their own education. They engage deeply in life on campus and beyond. They serve in student government, pursue social justice, develop research skills, and perform in music and the arts.

Summer Enrichment Program

Instituted in 1974, this first-of-its-kind program is a defining feature of the Morehead-Cain undergraduate experience, comprising four multi-week, fully funded summer placements that are intentionally designed to broaden perspective, deepen understanding, enhance professional and leadership skills, and accelerate life experience.
