Immediate Plans

To join Duke-TIP as a teaching associate before applying to law school.

Milena earned a BA with highest distinction in English and comparative literature, with a minor in social and economic justice. At Carolina, she served as an equity chair, fundraising chair, player, and team manager for Pleiades, the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team, winning two national championships. After spending her professional development summer interning for Green Top Farms, a sustainable food catering company founded by a Morehead-Cain Alumnus, she continued to work as a marketing associate during the year through her Curricular Practical Training as her passion for sustainable food practices and work relationships flourished there. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and UNC’s law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta. To wrap up her time at Carolina, she worked at Campus Recreation as a sports referee and operations assistant to continue her engagement with the campus community and athletics.
