Immediate Plans

To attend UNC School of Law.

Jared earned a BA in political science and public policy. He was passionate about serving his community both at UNC and in the town of Chapel Hill. In pursuing this passion, he volunteered with the COVID-19 Student Service Corps during the pandemic, served as the community service director for UNC Young Democrats, and joined the national service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. He also served in a leadership capacity at the Community Empowerment Fund. This experience was particularly meaningful to him as it allowed him to employ the knowledge and skills learned studying social justice at UNC to make a real-world impact in the local community. Academically, he conducted legal research at the Center for Civil Rights at UNC School of Law, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
