Jaida earned a BA with highest distinction in her interdisciplinary studies major centered on behavioral economics, with minors in business administration and French. On campus, she was the finance director for the Campus Y and a Luther Hodges scholar in the Kenan-Flagler business school, and spent three years in the Parr Center for Ethics, where she helped coordinate the National High School Ethics Bowl. Jaida also worked for the Ackerman Center for Excellence in Sustainability as a research intern and for Meantime Coffee Co., a student-run coffee shop on campus. Academically, she completed an Ethics Research seminar to become an Ethics Scholar and studied abroad at Sciences Po Paris. After her Global Perspective summer, Jaida continued her passion for pottery by taking a course at the ArtsCenter in Carrboro.
