Christopher earned a double BA with highest distinction in economics and exercise and sports science—sports administration, with a minor in business administration. At Carolina, he was a member of the Tar Heel varsity football team all four years, where he helped contribute to four consecutive bowl appearances and a division championship, and was voted onto the leadership council twice. Outside of football, Christopher also chaired the UNC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a member of Dream On 3 during his collegiate time. He earned the ACC Top Six for Service award, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, was awarded the AD Scholar Athlete of the Year for Football honor, and received the Wells Fargo Student-Athlete Post Graduate Scholarship, given to one graduating student-athlete a year with postgraduate plans.
