Haley Allen joined the Foundation in the fall of 2024 as its program coordinator for scholar advising, where she helps to keep many of the different programs, events, and tasks of the scholar advising team running smoothly.

Haley is passionate about empowering students and has done this in a variety of settings since her time as a college student. Most recently, she served as director of youth initiatives with Special Olympics North Carolina, where she managed regional and statewide events, planned communications, and provided training and resources to educators and youth leaders in western North Carolina in an effort to promote inclusion for students with and without intellectual disabilities.

A UNC–Chapel Hill alumna, Haley earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with minors in Spanish and recreation administration. Haley grew up in western North Carolina and now lives in Durham with her husband and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and running. She is excited to be a part of the Morehead-Cain team and looks forward to supporting scholars as they access all of the incredible resources and opportunities that the Program has to offer.
