Anna Louise Pickens ’23 earned degrees in business and advertising/public relations from UNC–Chapel Hill. She joined the Morehead-Cain Foundation in January 2026 as community program coordinator, organizing and executing scholar and alumni events.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Anna Louise worked in relationship-based sales as a health care account executive at Lenovo, where she particularly enjoyed planning customer events, experience she is excited to bring to Morehead-Cain.
From canoeing in the Boundary Waters to studying historic preservation in London, many of Anna Louise’s most formative experiences were made possible through the Program. She is grateful for her time as a scholar and eager to give back to the organization that shaped her.
Anna Louise lives in Chapel Hill with her fiancé, Eric, and their puppy, Maple. On weekends, she teaches tap, ballet, tumbling, and jazz at a local dance academy. In her free time, she enjoys travel and interior design projects.
