Zoey earned a BA in media and journalism, with a concentration in advertising and public relations and a certificate in sports communications. At Carolina, Zoey was the president of the Carolina Indian Circle, the undergraduate Native American student organization, and previously served as treasurer and banquet chair. Exercising her passion for sports, she was a video manager for Carolina Football, and previously worked for over two years as a recruiting and operations intern for the football program. Zoey also worked as a premium operations assistant with the NC Courage and North Carolina FC soccer teams. A passionate advocate for Indigenous peoples and for creating opportunities in sports, Zoey represented UNC at the ACC Leadership Symposium, served as a Class of 2025 Senior Marshal, and received the Robert E. Bryan Public Service Award on behalf of the Carolina Indian Circle. The award, given by the UNC Carolina Center for Public Service, recognizes extraordinary public service and engagement in service to the state of North Carolina.
