Vivian earned a BS in computer science, with minors in business administration and data science. At Carolina, Vivian worked as a teaching assistant for the computer science department, helping students begin their journeys as programmers. She joined the Phillips Ambassadors Program, a scholarship and educational program for students studying abroad in Asia, and traveled to Singapore one summer. Vivian also enjoyed involving herself in various clubs and organizations including Consult Your Community, App Team Carolina, and her sorority, Kappa Phi Lambda. During her time at Carolina, she dedicated three years to Flying Silk, UNC’s only Chinese traditional dance team, and performed at various festivals and showcases across North Carolina.
