Sadie earned a BA with highest distinction in history, a minor in media and journalism with a concentration in advertising and public relations, and a certificate in fashion communication and marketing. At Carolina, Sadie worked as an Admissions Ambassador, helped reinstate UNC’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, and was a vice chair for the Undergraduate Honor Court. She also served on her town’s Reimagining Public Safety Task Force, interned for the Southern Oral History Program, and consulted for the Ackland Art Museum. Academically, she researched abortion rights in Germany and climate colonialism in Latin America, and wrote her capstone on monuments, memory, and the Trans-Atlantic slave trade in Lisbon. Sadie enjoyed teaching violin as a volunteer with Musical Empowerment and playing in UNC’s string orchestra. She loves to run and recently qualified for the Boston Marathon.
