Quintin earned a BA with highest distinction in public policy, and a BA with highest distinction in Germanic and Slavic languages and literatures with a concentration in Russian language and culture. At Carolina, Quintin was an advocate with the Community Empowerment Fund and a Buckley Public Service Scholar, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He also conducted global public health law research at UNC in affiliation with Georgetown’s O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law and the CDC. Quintin completed the Russian Flagship Program’s Capstone, studying Russian and Kazakh for a year in Almaty, Kazakhstan, while working with the Kazakhstan International Bureau for Human Rights. Throughout his time at UNC, Quintin was an announcer at triathlons and running races across the U.S.
