Immediate Plans

To work in public service before applying to a public policy program.

Nigel earned a BA with distinction in management and society, with honors, and minored in history, philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE). His passion for discourse led him to participate in the Agora Fellowship through the Program for Public Discourse and to deliver a lecture on the morality of discourse as a Balter Fellow, selected by the Philosophy Department. Nigel was also very involved in student government as the chief of staff, where he was awarded the USG Presidential Medal of Excellence. Academically, he wrote a senior honors thesis exploring the historical reality of the play A Raisin in the Sun. During his time at Carolina, he co-founded the Morehead-Cain Food for Thought speaker series to build community through conversation.
