At UNC, Mike was a writer for the Carolina Political Review and a skipper on the Club Sailing Team. He was also a proud member of Chi Psi, where he formed lasting, meaningful friendships. Academically, he conducted research in the Political Science and Communications departments and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha. Professionally, Mike worked in the Office of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs, where he helped coordinate the Diplomatic Discussions speaker series. Most recently, he supported the creation and launch of the Carolina Diplomacy Fellows program, which equips UNC students with global affairs training, career development, and a portfolio to showcase their skills.
