Maanav earned a BSBA with distinction and honors in business administration, with a minor in art history. At Carolina, he served on the executive board of the Asian American Center, was a member of Consult Your Community, and worked as a teaching assistant for BUSI 582: Mergers and Acquisitions. He also served as director of finance and operations for the Eve Carson Scholarship. In the business school, Maanav completed an honors thesis on the impacts of artificial intelligence on investment management, which was featured in UNC Research Stories. He was recognized as a member of Honors Carolina and the Dean’s List. To close out his time at UNC–Chapel Hill, he picked up distance running and is currently training for a marathon.
