Luis Salvador Sanchez

Luis earned a BS with distinction in computer science, with a minor in data science. While at Carolina, he was a member and organizer of a number of Latinx clubs and affinity groups, including but not limited to Mi Pueblo, AfroLatinx, and the Morehead-Cain Latinx affinity group. He also worked as a teaching assistant for the Computer Science Department during five of his eight semesters at UNC, as well as contributing to the creation and management of the Computer Science Experience Lab as an ambassador. During his time at Carolina, Luis devoted a great amount of effort to the organization of events, learning centers, and courses regarding computer science.
