Immediate Plans

To pursue a career in media and entertainment in New York City.

Laurelle earned a BSBA with distinction and a minor in French. At Carolina, she was co-president of Consult Your Community, a student-run organization offering pro bono consulting services to local businesses and nonprofits, and was also an active member of her sorority, Phi Mu. In the fall of 2023, she completed a semester-long exchange program taught entirely in French at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III in Lyon, France. Last summer, she interned at Warner Bros. Discovery in New York City on the Ad Sales Research and Insights team, an experience that inspired her to pursue a career in the media and entertainment industry. To wrap up her time at Carolina, she used the Lovelace Fund for Discovery to return to France and continue her independent research project on her grandfather, Henri Maubert, a French Resistance fighter and concentration camp survivor.
