Jacoby Grayson Smith

Jacoby earned a BA with highest distinction in economics, with a minor in business administration and a CPDM certificate in emergency management. While at Carolina, he competed in the USA Triathlon National Development Series, qualifying for the World Championships in both 2022 and 2023. In addition to triathlon and criterium racing, Jacoby served as a business analyst for Consult Your Community, worked as a teaching assistant for applied engineering, was a recipient of the Luther Hodges Scholars Program, and had two health narratives published in the UNC Health Humanities Journal. His exploratory spirit took him to over eighteen countries during his undergraduate tenure, most notably when he volunteered as a development coordinator for RUJA in Uganda.
