To join International Farming as an analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Emily earned a BA with highest distinction in economics and a BA with highest distinction and highest honors in her interdisciplinary studies major: comparative food economies, with a minor in business administration. Throughout her time at Carolina, she was involved in numerous sports-related activities, including serving as the chief strategist at UNCUT Chapel Hill, a sports media nonprofit, and as a production assistant for Go Heels Productions. She also spent three years working as an advocate at the Community Empowerment Fund. After taking a gap year during which she traveled and worked at a startup incubator, she returned to Chapel Hill to pursue research on the social impacts of sport, specifically through the Paralympics. Academically, she spent her last two years studying global foodways, culminating in an ethnographic senior honors thesis on alternative food networks in three countries. A highlight of her time in Chapel Hill was hosting pop-up backyard brunches with two friends.
