Elizah earned a BA with highest distinction from the Hussman School of Journalism and Media, with a minor in social and economic justice, and also earned a certificate in fashion communication and marketing. At Carolina, Elizah served as the president of UNC Mental Health Ambassadors, an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between administrative and student mental health needs. Elizah was a creative for the UNC Football team for three years, a photographer for Coulture, and worked for the Daily Tar Heel. Recently, Elizah led a student team to success in a partnership with Lenovo. Outside of school, Elizah works with local elementary school students at the Boys & Girls Clubs and runs a successful freelance creative business, serving hundreds of clients throughout the United States. To cap off Elizah’s time at Carolina, she filmed a documentary in Japan with the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize winner Nihon Hidankyo, continuing her honors seminar research.
