To return to UNC–Chapel Hill as a Chancellor’s Fellow.

Eleanor earned a BA with highest distinction in public policy and with highest honors in political science, with a minor in data science. At Carolina, Eleanor served as the cabinet director and executive board member of the Campus Y, where she supported over twenty student committees focused on social justice initiatives. She also served as co-chair of the Disability Advocates Committee for three years, during which she led advocacy initiatives and met regularly with the chancellor to expand accessibility on campus. Eleanor completed a senior honors thesis for the public policy department on the experiences of people with disabilities in asylum, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She received the Frank Porter Graham Award—the Chancellor’s Award presented to the graduating senior who has made the most outstanding contribution to a realization of the human ideals of equality, dignity, and community, and the Presidential Medal of Excellence for her unwavering commitment to campus accessibility and advocacy for disabled students.
