Immediate Plans

To pursue a master’s degree in global studies at UNC-Chapel Hill, exploring the intersection of global education and international conflict resolution, while continuing to compete with UNC Pleiades.

Allison earned a BA with highest distinction in political science, with minors in social and economic justice and medicine, literature, and culture. During her time at Carolina, she interned for her hometown’s Coalition for Equity and Inclusion, served as the social media coordinator for a local school committee campaign, and volunteered with Grow Your World’s youth mentorship program. As a WomenNC Scholar, Allison conducted research on school-based restorative justice, which she presented at the 67th Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations. Allison also developed a strong connection to Oceania, interning at the Te Ngāpara Centre for Restorative Practice in New Zealand and studying Indigenous Studies during a semester abroad at the University of Sydney. Her favorite Carolina memories include performing with the Carolina Vibe Dance Team and winning four straight national titles with UNC Pleiades Ultimate Frisbee.
