Four Morehead-Cain Scholars Receive Chancellor’s Awards

Four Morehead-Cain Scholars have received Chancellor’s Awards, the University’s highest student honors for excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and leadership.

 

Oliver Mitchell-Boyask ’19 received the Albert and Gladys Hall Coates Award, presented to the member of Student Congress whose service is judged most outstanding.

 

 

 

Jordan Bermudez ’19 received the Irene F. Lee Award, presented to the woman of the senior class who is judged most outstanding in leadership, character, and scholarship.

 

 

 

Danielle du Preez ’20 received the Marc Adam Eisdorfer Award in Linguistics, for outstanding academic achievement in the linguistics department.

 

 

 

Ezra Rawitsch ’19 received the McNally Award for Excellence in Geography, a monetary prize and an international atlas given to a graduating senior selected by the geography faculty based on superior academic performance.

The Chancellor’s Awards ceremony, held annually, is the only campus-wide student recognition program at Carolina. The Foundation extends congratulations to these scholars for their achievements!
