Lorelle arrived at the Foundation in the summer of 2017 with an enthusiasm for advising, supporting, and encouraging scholars as they navigate their Morehead-Cain experiences.
A double-Tar Heel, Lorelle graduated from Carolina with a bachelor’s in psychology and a JD from the School of Law. Since graduation she has represented immigrant clients in removal proceedings, mentored students with the UNC Scholars Latino Initiative, and most recently served as Assistant Director of Student Services at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering.
Lorelle’s interests are as varied as her work experience. She is finishing her certification in Koru Mindfulness and Meditation, enjoys biking and playing complicated games, and once worked as a hand model. Lorelle and her husband are happy to call downtown Durham home.
