The Morehead-Cain Team: Get to know us!

Kim Jessen Roberson ’03

Western Region Development Officer

A member of the Morehead-Cain class of 2003, Kim says nothing in her life had as much impact as her scholar experience. And she viewed the chance to join the staff in the winter of 2017 as an irresistible opportunity to give back.

As the western region development officer, Kim is focused on connecting with alumni and building relationships west of the Mississippi.

Wherever she goes, Kim brings with her an expertise in nonprofits and philanthropy. She has spent her career working with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, El Pomar Foundation, La Paz Community School in Costa Rica, and Global Greengrants Fund. Kim graduated from Carolina with a degree in international studies and earned her master’s in international development at George Washington University.

Kim, her husband, and their spunky two-year-old daughter live in Colorado. She enjoys yoga, hiking, skiing, and cooking—although she views recipes as merely suggestions. Kim is also a trail runner, with the goal of finishing races in anything but last place.
