Highly organized and passionate about higher education, Emily works closely with the Development and Communications teams as she manages most of the daily operations related to the Foundation’s Alumni Engagement efforts. She is responsible for managing alumni records, administering the Foundation’s stewardship program, overseeing scholar/alumni relations, and producing financial reports.
Emily’s studies have given her the opportunity to travel the country and the world. She earned her bachelor of arts in anthropology from the University of Arizona, her master of arts in history and archaeology from Washington University in Saint Louis, and her PhD in art history here at UNC-Chapel Hill. She also studied abroad in Italy, Greece, and Turkey.
Though Emily traveled extensively for her education, she is happy to call North Carolina home. She is enjoying all that the Triangle region has to offer, including its outdoor parks and walking trails, its eclectic restaurants, and the area’s museums and art galleries.
