Anahid’s eye for art and fine detail are perfectly suited in Morehead House, a quiet bed and breakfast that serves as the Foundation’s guest quarters. Her touch ensures that all guests feel welcome during their stay at this hidden jewel nestled in the heart of Carolina’s campus.
Anahid has always relied on discovering visual relationships. After receiving a masters of arts from Carolina in cell biology, she worked as a research scientist at the UNC School of Medicine, exploring the physiology of cells. Thirty years peering into an electron microscope kept her visual literacy tuned, and her passion for the fine arts ultimately encouraged her to leave science behind and launch an art consulting business that she manages to this day.
When not enjoying time with her husband, two daughters, and three grandchildren, you may find Anahid boating, studying Italian, or tending to her garden and collection of beehives.
