Sophomore Megan Raisle is one of nine undergraduate students named a UNC Phillips Ambassador for study abroad programs in Asia.

Ambassadors are chosen based on academic achievement, strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity and ambition, evidence of generous service to campus and community, and a previous record of leadership. Raisle will receive $5,000 toward the cost of a study abroad program at The School for Field Studies in Cambodia during the spring 2018 semester.

The Phillips Ambassadors Program is part of the Carolina Asia Center, in association with the Study Abroad Office. It has supported more than 300 students since its founding in 2007.
