Ana Dougherty has received a 2017 Princeton in Latin America Fellowship and will work as an Impact and Research Programs Associate at Global Partnerships in Nicaragua. The nonprofit’s mission is to expand health, energy, and economic opportunity for people living in poverty.
Princeton in Latin America places recent graduates in yearlong fellowships with nonprofit, public service, humanitarian, and government organizations with a social mission throughout Latin America and Caribbean. The placements are intended to emphasize the impact of work experience and inspire fellows to affect positive social change.
Dougherty graduated in May with a double major in global studies and economics and a minor in philosophy, politics, and economics.
