Since mid-July, we’ve shared weekly posts that we hope have helped you—our candidates—feel more comfortable with the application process as well as get to know Morehead-Cain a little better.

We shared advice on deciding whether to apply, choosing a recommender, and getting started with your written application. We explained what we look for in Morehead-Cain Scholars and answered a few frequently asked questions. We provided various scholar perspectives and shared a variety of Summer Enrichment Program stories.

We hope you’ve gained something by following along. We know you worked hard to share a bit about yourselves through your essays, so we thought it was only fair to share a bit about ourselves with you through this blog. Now, we are immersed in reading your essays. We can’t wait to get to know you even better as the selection process continues.
