Launched in 2008, the Discovery Fund is the latest innovation of the Morehead-Cain and provides each Scholar up to $8,000 in grant funding over the course of four years to:
- delve deeper into personal or professional interests
- sharpen skills
- pursue ideas
The Discovery Fund was designed as a robust complement to the Summer Enrichment Program: the Discovery Fund serves to focus and advance the individual Scholar’s interests, intellectual or creative pursuits, or professional goals while the Summer Enrichment Program serves to broaden perspective for all Scholars through a framework of four strategically designed summer experiences.
