In April 2010, Jamie Dement and her partner were profiled in the New York Times for their work in building Coon Rock Farm, which supplies local meat and produce to restaurants in the Raleigh-Durham area.
Coon Rock is regarded as a leader in the movement toward community supported agriculture.
